It’s that time of year again — pumpkins on the porch, costumes coming together, and all the fall magic in the air! And you know what that means… it’s almost time for one of my very favorite events of the year — Boo @ the Barn!

This event has truly become a beloved tradition here at Specialty Photography. Every Halloween night, our studio barn is transformed into a festive Halloween wonderland filled with laughter, candy, and community spirit. I love seeing your families — superheroes, princesses, little ghosts, and goblins — all dressed up and having a blast while we capture those sweet, silly, and spooky memories. 🧡
✨ What’s Happening This Year
Here’s what you can look forward to at Boo @ the Barn 2025:
🎃 FREE Halloween Photo – Stop by our fun and festive Halloween set design for a quick, complimentary photo with your donation.
🧸 Give Back with a Toy Donation – Bring a new, unwrapped toy or teddy bear for Cook Children’s Hospital, and you’ll receive one FREE digital image as our way of saying thank you for helping us spread joy to children in need.
🎁 Kick-Off to Our Annual Toy Drive – Boo @ the Barn officially launches our Annual Toy Drive, running from October 31st through December 13th. Every donation helps brighten a child’s holiday season.
💌 $25 Studio Gift Card – Every family who visits will receive a $25 Specialty Photography gift card to use toward a future session.
🍭 Treats for the Kids – We’ll have candy, sodas, cupcakes, and small toys for the little ones — because what’s Halloween without treats?
🧡 Why We Love This Night
Boo @ the Barn is so much more than a photo event — it’s a night that celebrates community, kindness, and connection. It’s a chance to give back to the families and friends who have supported my small business year after year. Watching your children light up in front of the camera, seeing your smiles, and getting to chat and laugh with so many of you — that’s what makes this night so special to me.
Every year, I walk away from this event with a full heart and so much gratitude for each of you who come out to be part of it.
