Oh my goodness, y’all — just look at how adorable Zyir is! This sweet boy is turning ONE, and what a fun and sunshine-filled session we had to celebrate this milestone!

I’ve had the absolute joy of photographing Zyir throughout his first year — from his newborn session to now — and watching him grow has been such a gift. It’s moments like these that remind me why I love what I do.

Mom and Dad chose the most perfect western theme for his session, and let me tell you, Zyir made the cutest little cowboy you’ve ever seen! One of the highlights was using a family heirloom saddle that’s been passed down through generations — how special is that? It added such a meaningful touch to their portraits and made for some truly timeless keepsakes.

We carried the cowboy theme into the studio for his cake smash, and even recreated some photos that Dad had taken when he was little — including the classic alphabet blocks. Zyir had the best time playing with them!

One of my favorite parts of each session is collaborating with parents to create something that reflects their story. It’s those thoughtful, personal touches that make the memories even more meaningful — and absolutely priceless.
