There is something truly special about family portraits captured during the golden hour. That beautiful time just before sunset creates the most breathtaking light, wrapping families in a warm glow that simply cannot be duplicated.

Today's featured session takes us back to a beautiful fall evening with the Bennet and McClure families. I had the privilege of meeting them at their family ranch, JM2 Cattle & Co., located not too far from the studio. They had already selected the perfect location for their portraits—a beautiful spot nestled among the trees with open fields nearby that provided the most stunning backdrop for their session.

This was an extended family session, and what a joy it was to photograph three wonderful families together. We captured grandparents with grandchildren, parents with their children, and all of those priceless moments in between. Some of my favorite memories from the evening were watching the children run and play through the field, laughing together while the golden sunlight danced around them.

Extended family sessions are always meaningful because they preserve multiple generations in one collection of images. These photographs become treasured keepsakes that tell the story of a family's legacy, love, and connection. Years from now, these images will serve as a reminder of this season of life and the special bond shared between each family member.

The beauty of this session wasn't just found in the gorgeous fall landscape or the golden sunset. It was found in the hugs, the laughter, the playful moments, and the genuine love this family shares. Those are the moments I love most to capture.

To the Bennet and McClure families, thank you for allowing me the honor of photographing your beautiful families. It was a blessing to spend the evening with you and preserve these memories. My prayer is that you treasure these images and the memories they represent for many years to come.
