There is just something so special about those first few days with a brand new baby. The tiny fingers, sleepy snuggles, soft little cheeks, and all of the sweet details that change far too quickly. Getting to capture those moments for families is truly one of my greatest joys.
Sweet little Stetson Lane visited the studio for his newborn session, and he was an absolute dream. He loved being all cozy and wrapped up during his session and did amazing for his very first photo shoot. From the moment he arrived, he was calm, cuddly, and so incredibly precious.
Mom and Dad love hunting and western décor, so of course we had to weave those meaningful touches into his session. I always love creating portraits that feel personal and tell a family’s story. They brought along a special duck decoy and the cutest little deer for Stetson to hold in a few photos, and those images turned out absolutely adorable. It made the session feel even more unique and special to their family.
One of my favorite parts of newborn photography is capturing the little in-between moments that often become treasured memories years later. I especially loved photographing Mom and Dad’s hands gently holding their baby boy and including their wedding rings in some of the images. Those tiny details tell such a beautiful story of love, family, and the beginning of a brand new chapter.
Babies grow and change so quickly, and newborn portraits truly become treasures for a lifetime. These are the moments families will look back on years from now and remember just how tiny and loved their little one was in those very first days.
Thank you so much to the Clifton family for trusting me to capture your precious little Stetson. It was such an honor to photograph your sweet family, and I cannot wait to see you all back in the studio again soon.
Love & Laughter,
Deanna
